Connected Satellite Navigation

The FleetConnect Connected Navigation Device (CND) can be used as a in-vehicle Personal Navigation Device (PND),  a user can input address and postcode information and the CND unit will calculate the route to the specified location and then guide them to the location.

FleetConnect enhances the PND by adding a connected feature where the user can receive a message that contains a location for them to go to. By simply selecting the GO button the CND unit will automatically plan a route for the user to that location without requiring further input from the user.

This connected feature is useful for preplanning and sending information of known locations to the user helping to ensure they get to the right location, on time and in a timely fashion. The system can also be used to send the user a number of locations as an itinerary of locations to visit. Once visited the user can either reply to the message telling the sender that they have been there or they can delete the message from the unit. The FleetConnect  Web site receives all message status's from the CND unit creating an audit trail of when the message was sent, received, opened and deleted.

The Satellite software is intuitive to use, it has full UK and Ireland coverage (Other maps are available) and packed with the latest enhanced features you would expect from a satellite navigation unit.
